PDSA - First for Furniture
To capitalise on the potential for increased furniture sales, the PDSA has taken its first Luton bodied vehicle and placed an order for two more.
The vehicles, Citroen Relays with bodies built by Aire Truck Bodies will handle
collection from donors and deliveries to customers and will be based at the PDSA
shop at Waltham Cross, London.
PDSA transport manager Julie Ward said: 'The PDSA was looking for maximum volume
within the 3.5tonnes gross weight limit for vehicles to be driven by the holder
of a car licence. Aire Truck Bodies and Birmingham Citroen proved the best combination.'
