Aire Truck Bodies has launched Aire Body Care. It's a total year around aftermarket service that covers on-site repairs and fast delivery of parts for all types of popularly fitted dry freight and temperature managed body. It also includes repair and maintenance contracts tailored to match the specific needs of individual operators.
Available at the end of a phone (0121 520 7765) 24 hours a day, Aire Body Care has been launched for operators based in England and Wales. Full roll out across the UK is planned for later this year. Typical cost of a repair and maintenance contract is around £50.00 per month
for up to five vehicles, with discounts applying beyond that number. The round
the clock support service also includes regular inspections that cover soundness
of the superstructure and security of the bodywork. Typically, the inspection
service includes tail lifts: mountings and fixings; curtains, roofs and floors;
doors and shutters; side and rear under run guards and droppers. It also includes
minor 'wear and tear' repairs, including re-sealing and electrical, as necessary.
Damage other than superficial is reported to the customer and quoted for separately.
Major work will be completed at an Aire Truck Bodies' repair centre.
As an additional service, Aire Body Care also extends to the fixing of cab/body
components and accessories from bumpers, side steps and mirrors to wiper blades,
for example.
Services outside repair and maintenance contracts cover the fast delivery of
body parts and the call out of a repair/inspection crew on a retail basis. Body
parts are dispatched the quickest way possible and response to a repair call out
will normally be within 24 hours.
At the launch, Aire Body Care operations manager Simon Dryburgh siad: 'A truck
body is the best mobile advertisement that any company have, so keeping the body
in tip top trim makes sense, the more so if the cost is reasonable and vehicle
up time is unaffected. And that's where Aire Body Care comes to the fore.' 'An
inspection/repair regime from Aire Body Care will also offset the cost penalties
for body damage on vehicles coming off contract,' he adds.
